Customers needing CNC routing facilities may send in CAD files by e-mail, floppy disc or CD.

The best format for 2D work is .dxf or .dwg and for 3D work use the IGES. We also accept technical drawings or dimensioned sketches for manual input into the Alphacam program.

Two CNC Routers are in operation. The 2D is a 3-axis machine with a 3050mm x 1525mm bed and the 3D is a 5-axis unit with a 2440mm x 1220mm bed.

For rapid production of shapes in sheet material the CNC method of production is hard to beat. Using powerful CAD software your drawing or file can quickly be converted into the finished component. A high degree of accuracy is achieved time after time.

Waste is minimised by "nesting" the part shapes close together to maximise out from the stock sheet size.

Lettering & Logos
It is possible to CNC machine logos, designs, names, individual lettering or numbering on components. If you have a compatible CAD drawing file for your logo or design why not e-mail it in to us for a quote.

 

2D
Shapes, circles, ellipses, polygons, ribs, frames, holes, slots, ploughs, rebates, pockets, blind holes, face drilling, round overs, slatwall, fretwork, engraving, door face detail (raised & fielded panels). Up to 50mm thick

 

3D
3D Sculpting, moulds, forms, jigs, patterns, complex surfaces - bevels - round overs, 3D engraving to curved surfaces, angled holes - slots - ploughs - rebates - pockets and drillings. Up to 800mm thick.
