Avon Plywood is primarily a timber merchant specialising in the supply of wood based sheet material products, complemented by a range of sawn, planed and moulded timber.
At the trade counter there is a selection of fixings, glues, stains, polishes, preservatives and ironmongery available. A cutting to size service is offered which covers sawn timber, planed timber and sheet materials.
A computer based "optimising" service is provided which allows for rapid planning and costing of sheet material cutting lists. Once approved data is transmitted "on line" to our beam saws for programmed cutting of the materials. A high level of accuracy is achieved with all our materials including melamine faced and wood veneered products.
Edgebanding is now available on site. Melamine, woodgrain & PVC may be applied. Please contact us for further details.
CNC router facilities are available on site which include 2D and 3D capabilities. Please contact us for further details.
Sawn timber is cut to size using a band resaw, planed using a planer / thicknesser and some of our products are shaped using a spindle moulder.
Other special machining services and treatment processes are arranged on a regular basis.
Using our own vehicles deliveries are made to customers on a daily basis on C.O.D. or account terms.
