Edgebanding

    The new EBM KDP 118 SLK edgebanding machine enables us to offer a quality lipping service. The cut to size panels produced from our Holzma beam saws may now be finished with a variety of edging products.

    This machine is equipped with diamond pre-milling to ensure perfect cut edge quality on the panel prior to the placement of the edging. Following the application of hot melt glue end trimming then top & bottom trimming is carried out. This trimming can be for straight or 2mm to 3mm radius edges & rounding over of top & bottom corners if called for. An additional profile scraper is used to ensure a fine finish on PVC edging followed by a flat top & bottom glue scraper. The final stage is provided by twin cloth buffing wheels to give a finishing polish to the edging.
